(1) About renting, I agree that renting is deeper slavery, which is why I have a proposed fix for it https://medium.com/non-violence/stakeholder-control-turning-renters-into-property-shareholders-4dc52e056655 (2) and I think what you're pointing out it's not lenders' fault that homeowners are enslaved to them; it's the fault of pre-existing NIMBY homeowners who refuse to allow denser zoning and more houses to be built so as to cause house prices to rise faster than median wages.
