About Stafford & Fayette Counties: I don't understand how your observations are relevant to the point of this article, which is differences in wealth between races. Your points are why the overall area is wealthy. Whatever. The point of my article is that Republicans foster greater wealth equality between races regardless of whether it's at the top or bottom of the overall ladder of wealth, and that chart in my article continues to prove that. The point of my article is the relative wealth of races to each other; you pointing out why the counties are wealthy in an absolute sense over other counties is irrelevant.
I totally agree that the state governor is a more meaningful indicator of a state's overall party affiliation. I also don't understand why you think you're pushing back here either because that's exactly how I classified the states: weighing state governor/legislature affiliation more than national senator affiliation.
