When I search in Google for libertarianism and 1848 I mostly get articles about how the 1848 republican/liberal revolutionaries were embodying leftwing "anarcho/socialist" libertarianism. At the same time, I cannot find any criticism of the 1848 revolutions from conservative libertarian philosophers. Maybe that exists, but I can't find it. In the end, I mostly think you're not defining libertarianism in a way that either leftwing or rightwing libertarians would define it.
