Changing the rules in an un-Constitutional way gives the advantage to the side who made the rule change because they saw it coming and could prepare. Either have mail in voting, or make election day a federal holiday, but not both: Both makes no sense. And tons of Democrats over the years have complained about how mail in voting is less secure, which is what the rules were un-Constitutional changed too. Michigan actually did in person normal election day voting early in the Coronavirus era (March 2020 I think) and there was no discernable effect on transmission, yet the Michigan Democrats un-Constitutionally did mail in voting anyway, for no good proven reason
