"Childfree people pay the same taxes like everyone else but they do not get those taxes spent on their children's education or healthcare." - And parents pay pretty much those exact same taxes, yet in their elderly years the childless get more from others' children than the parents do! Parents spend $300,000/child to raise children, and the paltry child tax credit does almost nothing to compensate for that! So, the childless have way more money in their retirement because they didn't pay to raise children, and because the childless have far more money, they can acquire a far larger share of the productivity of the young people whom the parents raised than the parents can. None of this is fair.
