Democrats control those local and state governments, and yet you're blameshifting onto Republicans. It's always someone else's fault.

If you can’t solve problems until you have 100% control over all levels of government, then what you’re really saying is that you have to have one party state control in order to make your ideas work. Can’t say I’m surprised at an authoritarian Democrat implicitly stating this, but here it is.

Let’s assume you’re right about Democratic Party areas having more wealth than Republican areas, and you’re right about the Republicans in the Senate disproportionately moving money away from Democratic Party areas; that would mean that the Democratic Party areas are more likely to be equal in net wealth with Republican areas, which undercuts your original excuse about why Republican areas have more wealth equality than Democratic areas. Democrats at the state, county & city levels can tax as much as they want to; Republicans in the federal government aren’t stopping that. If taxing is such a good idea to achieve greater wealth equality, Democrats have full freedom at the state and local levels to run with that. And yet Democrats still achieve less wealth equality than Republicans do.
