For a sympathetic take on the geo-engineering ideas, see this podcast episode: https://tim.blog/2022/03/16/jane-mcgonigal-imaginable/ - And at least this pundit acknowledges the worries about unintended consequences, which is very reassuring to me. However, because both interviewer and interviewee involved are leftists, they don't even bother to consider the danger of geo-engineering contracts turning into another $500 million Solyndra scandal with insider private businesses benefitting from Democratic government allies. If Solyndra had been a worker owned and controlled business, as I advocate all businesses be, then I'd feel less appalled at another example of Democrats in government getting taxpayer cash to their already rich friends owning private businesses.
