Hamas already has a state in reality. A government is nothing more than a police/military force. Hamas has had that de facto on the ground ever since Israel dismantled settlements and withdrew its police/military from Gaza in 2005, and yet what has Hamas done with its de facto on the ground government/state since 2005? Continue to restart cycles of violence against Israel. What concrete action do you think a "two-state solution" means in light of the fact that Hamas already has its own actual, de facto, on the ground government?
