Honestly, I'd first figure out whether the single mother's single because she made bad life decisions, or because like her first husband died (understandable). If it's because of bad life decisions, I'd probably be out. Why should I subsidize some other man's child, a man who's irresponsible? Maybe if the woman admitted she had made bad life decisions, and was willing to have 3+ more children with me to put the odds back in my favor, then yeah. Otherwise, no.
