Humans will always have to protect ourselves against natural climate change. The solution to everything is for humanity to re-wild the planet as much as possible, not embark on hubristic geo-engineering projects that could easily create unintended consequences worse than the original problem and that are implemented using the systemic coercion the government's monopoly on legitimate violence. All solutions should be voluntary, i.e., non-governmental, and should be as gentle with nature as possible, not world changing geo-engineering
