I fully support taking down Confederate Monuments. The problem is that the people strongly pushing this also then have started taking down non-Confederate monuments and taking down non-Confederate names from public spaces, like cancelling Abraham Lincoln who fought the Confederates! Cancelling George Washington! I'd rather oppose the takedown of all current monuments and public names than support a movement that so consistently exceeds the bounds of reason and decency.
