I have seen no evidence this is a significant "backlash". Nothing coming from major publications. No polling data. There are always some haters. I see waaaay more people like you hyping this backlash; in fact, I am aware of no one significant criticizing Rings of Power like a racist. The demand from self righteous people for racists to denounce far exceeds the supply of actual racists
