I mean, that's a very logical idea, and I would support spelling reforms. One of them is the whole two-pronunciations thing for the letters "G" and "C", which is a relic of sound change in the Roman Republic/Empire days that manifests itself today in which "Classical" pre-Christian Latin ---always--- pronounces "C" as "K" and "G" as in "golf", but Church Latin is based on common/vulgar Latin that sometimes pronounces "C" as "S" and "G" as "J" before the front vowels "E" and "I". We should not be basing our spelling on any version of Latin, but should make it logical and consistent.
