Ideology isn't the fundamental problem because ideology is merely an excuse by which people justify their use of violence and coercion. It's all for the service of the righteous ideology! The fundamental problem is people thinking that government is a good way to solve problems. The only unique defining characteristic of government, which separates it from non-governmental organizations, is the government's monopoly on legitimate violence through its police & military forces. Those forces back up all government action, making every government action a system of mass coercion. That's why ideology likes government: It's a system of mass coercion they can use for their righteous purposes. True solutions require deliberately choosing not to use government, but rather only voluntary organizations.
