If you haven't written about the death threats that conservative Supreme Court justices and other judges have been receiving for decades, the SWATing, and Antifa violence against peaceful bystanders and journalists and counterprotestors, then you're the original cause of this problem. You excuse and ignore leftwing violence, and then get surprised when conservatives get frustrated by your double standards.

If you want to be respected and to be taken seriously, you need to acknowledge that extremists on both sides have been behaving in these ways for decades, that it’s pointless to debate about who started it, you need to call on both sides to stop, and you need to explicitly criticize the violent leftists on the fringes of your own side just as much as you denounce the extreme MAGA types you complain about.
