If you're secular and don't like religion, you have to assume that religious orgs abuse children at the same rates as secular orgs unless proven otherwise. If this assumption is actually true, then yes, religious orgs are not living up to their own hype, but they also do not deserve any more criticism on this issue than secular orgs.
