It actually is a huge win for democracy and humanity that at least Iraq is ruled by its largest ethnic group: Shi'a Arabs, whereas under Saddam, Saddam's minority Sunnis oppressed them. And the Kurds have more autonomy in this new Iraq than they did under Saddam's constant attacks.
