Maoists murdered fellow true-believing communists. Both the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks were socialists; the Bolsheviks murdered them. Socialists murdering each other is another major feature of how socialism has been practiced in real life. Workers will never solve their problems until they stop trying to use the government to solve them; the only real solutions require voluntary effort. The one unique characteristics of government is its monopoly on legitimate violence, which makes everything it does a system of mass coercion.
