No, it is not disingenuous. It is exactly what is going on. You're pretending that only unelected library officials should be curating books. No. The ultimate legitimate book curators are democratically elected positions; they legitimately tell the public library administrators what to do, and can legitimately override whatever processes the library administrators have put in place. Because the library administrators are NOT democratically elected, but the democratically elected leaders ARE.
