Temperatures are always either warming or cooling. You didn't address the fact that the IPCC has concluded that if it weren't for human-caused warming, temperatures would be cooling. I prefer warming over cooling, and I think most people do too. Decent people also don't like using government's inherently coercive powers to force other people (i.e., dissidents) to do things.
