That claim is too vague to be understandable. What does "other places" mean? Only 10% of Americans have never been to another state in the USA. https://today.yougov.com/travel/articles/43843-which-states-have-americans-visited-yougov-poll And then 27% of Americans have never traveled outside of America. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2021/08/12/most-americans-have-traveled-abroad-although-differences-among-demographic-groups-are-large/ On the other hand, 37% of EU citizens have never been outside of their own country in the EU, https://www.europeandatajournalism.eu/cp_data_news/190-million-europeans-have-never-been-abroad/ which is geographically equivalent to an American going to a different state in the USA. So I think any reasonable interpretation of your statement is false in light of the facts, which means you're the one in a bubble. Your "constructive criticism" comment is weird - This is your article, I'm offering constructive criticism, and apparently you're so much in a bubble you're making incorrect factual claims.
