You fail to mention that Democrats also say the same exact thing about slaves learning skills in the AP African American History curriculum. You criticize Florida for failing to mention slave rape without proving that anyone else does it at all; if no one else does it either, then Florida leaving it out isn't unusual and so you have no right to criticize Florida uniquely for it. - When it comes to Ray Epps, my suspicion is that he was probably associated with the feds in some way and wants to use terminology technicalities to get away with suing for slander but will lose because he probably was associated with the feds in some way.
