The Republicans are NOT book banning. Book banning is forbidding anyone to possess the books anywhere. Choosing the books that are in libraries and schools is NOT book banning; on the contrary, it is democratic. The Republicans were democratically elected and are democratically choosing which books to include in the limited shelf space and curriculum time of libraries and schools. You are conflating two very different things, and criticizing Republicans for doing the exact same thing that Democrats democratically do when they are democratically elected: Each bans books for different, democratically-empowered social purposes: https://abcnews.go.com/US/conservative-liberal-book-bans-differ-amid-rise-literary/story?id=96267846
