The United States refuses to sign most international treaties. You know that. And I know you know that it has nothing to do with the content of any of those treaties, but to do with not wanting to limit the United States' democratic sovereignty to bureaucracies that are partly controlled by non-democratic nations. What matters are --actions--- not mere words like these "conventions". The United States does more than any other major country in human history to protect children. It's in the United States where child labor stopped on a grand scale for the first time in human history.
