Well, this and I have never seen a full lifecycle cradle to grave of all pollution effects comparing ICE vehicles to electric. No one has actually proven that electric is more environmentally friendly in a comprehensive basis. Lots of studies show that electric vehicles produce less CO2 (of course), but that's just one type of pollution, and often those comparisons don't take into account vehicle manufacture, vehicle disposal, or the creation of the electricity to power it. And then rarely take into all types of pollution like acids and metals used in manufacture. Let alone the cost to dispose of a battery versus to dispose of an ICE engine.
