You're refusing to acknowledge that the civilized world is in fact far more morally superior to the Palestinians partly because the civilized world treats gays far better. You're refusing to give any credit where credit is due. Yes, there are still problems, but still the civilized world is light years less bad. And you're refusing to recognize that.
